Lovely private swimming pool that was kept spotless and never full.
Plenty of sunbeds and poolside chairs.
Breaskfast for 6euro (3 for kids) with plenty of options available
Snacks available at lunchtime - limited but good value.
Close proximity to beach - 2 minutes walk and a further beach at 5 minutes with more facilities.
Bus stop for Chania at the end of the road - cost 1euro 10 and run regularly.

The location is great (the sea is at 1km, Rethymnon is close too), and so is the pool! Manousos welcomes you very nicely and is here to help during your stay if you have any question. A really nice place to stay, whether you are a group of friends or a family. -

Hotelli oli uudehko, erittäin siisti

The whole trip was just lovely and I wouldn't have changed a thing. My previously holiday-shy boyfriend loved everything about the holiday and especially the restaurant (Corinne Star) in the grounds of the hotel. It was the best of the restaurants we tried in both Kalamaki and Chania. The staff were very hard-working, warm and helpful. The beachside setting was beautiful, westward facing so you can enjoy the sunset while eating dinner at the poolside. Really hoping we can come back soon :)

Thalassa is very well located, quite on the see, but some kilometres away from the Kissamos town (which was good for us). The wiews from the apartments are superb! Very attractive hotel/apartment block located midway between town and the beach, so quiet and yet convenient. Nice pool (though surprisingly cold after a long, hot summer) and outdoor breakfast/lunch area. Socrates is a lovely hotel. Very friendly owners, Eva and George.
Absolutely perfect pool area, with comfortable sunbeds and a wonderful
garden. We got clean towels every day and the room was perfectly
cleaned. It was about 200 m to the bus stop (32) to Hersonissos and to
the beach 200-250 M. The hotel is perfectly situated in the countryside
quiet yet central. I would definitely go back. And the transfer service
I great. (A family with 16 and 9 year old kids)
