Everything. The hotel, the staff, the location, the food, the wine, the beer - you name it we liked it. The hotel is a little old fashioned - which makes it welcoming and warm regardless of the weather. The facilities are ideal for mature couples which is why so many of our fellow guests seemed to have returned every year for a long period of time. Oh, yes the other guests. Easily the most friendly hotel we have visited in many years. Everybody greeted us, in the lift, on the stairs, by the poo.
