Our 5-day stay here was perfect with its marvelous views and breathtaking sunsets. Try one of the best pools in the island with sunbeds and umbrellas, where the air is sweet from herbs and nectar and birds fly over the head. The owners were lovely and so helpful both prior to us arriving and while we were there. The room was stunning and the views even better. It was fantastic!! Exceeded all our expectations. Our hostess met us on arrival and showed us our beautiful "home". She provided a surprise Santorini lunch that was wonderful. When we go back, we stay there.It is a perfect location between Ia and Fira. Since it is not on the Caldara side, it is much quieter and less tourists. You can be in Ia in 15 minutes so it is no biggy. Close to a small beach that you can walk to. Wonderful, relaxing and fun- you stay in a windmill.

Great hotel in a lovely location, we loved watching the sunset each night. We were treated brilliantly with little treats making all the difference: strawberries, chocolate and champagne being left complimentarily for us and the staff were brilliant, coming all the way down the stairs just to help us with things like our sun umbrella!

Astra Suites exceeded our expectations. It's a beautiful romantic hotel with an amazing location and breath taking views. The staff were very friendly and generous. George, the manager , was extremely helpful and serviced us in the best way possible. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the beautiful Island.

Afroessa is a great place to stay in the lovely Imerovigli part of Santorini. Imerovigli is where you get the best views of the caldera and the view from Afroessa was just amazing. Each room has its own little outdoor seated area so you can sit there and eat breakfast overlooking the cladera. The room is great, large and clean with a big bathroom.

Santorini is magic, and Afroessa is drop dead gorgeous.Its location is perfect for day tripping, and a fabulous retreat to sip a wine and wait for the spectacular sunsets from your balcony. A five minute walk following gets to great restaurants, or if a little more adventurous, a 30 minute walk along the stunning cliff side track.
