Perched on the Santorini caldera 250 metres from Akrotiri, Blu features rooms with a balcony or terrace overlooking the Santorini volcano and the Aegean Sea. It offers a pool and a snack bar. Decorated in blue and white tones, all the air-conditioned units at the Blu Rooms have a fridge and TV. Each comes with a private bathroom with shower. Breakfast including homemade jams and local products, is served in the elegant dining area with views of the sea. Guests can relax by the pool that is about 100 metres away from the rooms and overlooks the caldera. Free Wi-Fi access is possible in public areas. Fira, the main town of Santorini is 10 km away. The scenic village of Oia is at 21 km. Staff can arrange car rental and free private parking is possible on site.

If I could I would have rate Blu Rooms more than 10 points. Everything was incredibly beyond what we could have imagined. First of all, the view is almost surreal, absolutly breathtaking. And unlike to most of "panoramic restaurants/hotels/anyothertouristicfacilities" the food is homemade, great quality and the atmosphere is that of a little family hotel, relaxed and friendly. Breakfast are generous, delicious and really home made. Eating on Blu Rooms terrace at sunset was such a pleasure, as i.
kaikki arvostelut » We stayed at Blu for 5 days, and it was unbelivable. The rooms are clean, nice smelling and blu :) The beds and the sheets are very comfortable. The view from the balcony is stunning, we had room no. 3 that also looked at pool. The pool is amazingly nice, with the view to caldera. The whole hotel is very modern, not crowded, with maching colors, looks fresh. The stuff is great, especially Sofia. It is a family bussines, and just to see them drinking coffies and laugh together makes you fell at . This hotel didn't dissapoint us, we lived in a beautiful room, designed in greek modest style with a view at Caldera! It was amazing. The swimming pool is secluded and luxurious! We loved Akritirion more than other areas on the island because only there you can see the real Greek life! All the stuff and the owners are friendly and hospitable people. Breakfasts were tasty and good! Especially apple pancakes with hot honey inside and cinnamon: how do you make them? It's so yummy!!!! Thank you ver. Everything in this family run hotel is fantastic. The people are so nice and always helpful. The hotel rests on a quiet village and has a spectacular view over the Caldeira. Very clean, very tidy, the pool sits isolated in a rock bench. Its perfect for relax and simply soak up the sun and the views. Also, the food at the hotel restaurant is excelent. Excellent quality/price relation. EVERYTHING!! This was our favourite stay on our one month holiday. The thing that made this place that much better than the rest is the family who run it! Nastassia was amazing, I felt like I gained a friend, and I desperately want to go back there. The breakfast was an added bonus. Plus the price tag was unbelievably good. Next time we are taking our two children!. The amazing location on the cliff with a wonderful view on all santorini (to the north). The rooms were also very nice and not cheap- looking, all with the view. We even had Internet in our room (because we were under the reception, room #7). The pool is also beautiful and stands in the middle of the cliff with again breathtaking views. The staff was adorable. Besides th fantastic view The details make the difference in blue rooms. The sheets are not the ordinary ones that other hotels use, are cotton with saten. The breakfast is home made with fresh cake, pancakes and fresh orange juice! You have a feeling that you don't want to go home!you want to stay there for ever because it feels like home!!. It's like a home stay. Excellent view, quiet place and very nice staff. Although their English is not good, they showed their warmness and kindness. Even they don't have dinner menu, when we said we'd like to have some hot soup, they specially made a fish soup for us. We love this place. It's like a home. Very value for money. Everything was just perfect. The view is magnificent, everybody there was very nice, smiling and helpful. It was also very clean. It is better to rent a car and you can visit all the island and you can go were you want to the beach. Hint: eat dinner or lunch at the hotel, it was delicious. Clean rooms with a stunning view on Caldera. If you don't mind the exausting march down/uphill a more or less private beach right "in front" of the hotel. We were so satisfied with everything else so we didn`t want to bother. nothing to point out. Despite all the reviews on this, the showers do lack comfort and a curtain. It seems it is common on the Greek islands for this budget. Also maybe a bit far from Fira in terms of convenience (20 minutes on a scooter). But it didn't bother us that much. It's an hour to Oia. The shower nozzle isn't hung on the wall. You have to hold it by yourself. The telphone number left on letsbookhotel.com couldn't be called through. We had to call letsbookhotel.com service to get the direction. A pity, that there is no fresh fruit or vegetables with the breakfast. The pool could be made nicer because the views from it are just wonderful. The sign for Blu Rooms is not very obvious when you get there. It shows "Blu cafe" if I remember correctly. + don't you have another category of "couples" (point n° 1): we are not young but not mature either!. You will need a car to visit the island. For us was not an issue since we want rent one anyways. Room change. Swiming pool is not exactly in the hotel, you have to walk few meters (but that is fine, and the view is great). Pool is a little walking distance. Ideally need to hire a car/quad bike, but the bus is near enough to cope as we did.
