  Good location in the city - bus-stop to Heidelberg is very close. Near there are 2 big supermarkets. Very friendly staff, Mr. Thomas Schroth helped us with check-in, thought it was not check-in time. He also helped with the transfer to Heidelberg. I'm also very satisfied with the breakfasts.

  Was wondering why the price went up? When I stayed 2 week ago it was 67,00 euro/night. This time it was 77,00 euro/night. Why did the price increase? - Nothing was too much trouble for the Staff. Due to the lack of Air-Conditioning in our Room, they cheerfully provided a Fan when we requested one.

  The Hotel Traube is an exceptionally beautiful older hotel. The owners are very friendly and accomodating. When we arrived we were given an upgrade to an apartment, which gave us a lot of room with a balcony. The breakfast room is large and beautifully furnished. The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of cold meats, cheeses, fruit, cerea... mitä ihmiset sanovat » ls, fresh rolls etc.There is a tram within 2 min. walk which takes you to Heidelberg if you don't wish to drive. It is close to restaurants and shoppi - We preferred to be out of the city centre so this hotel suited us. The tram stop is a few minutes walk and trams to Heidelberg run every 10 minutes during the day. Our Sat Nav found the hotel no problem. Approx. 10 minutes from the A5. We had a parking space in the courtyard but parking might be a problem when all the rooms are full. Breakfast very good. Rooms clean. Wi Fi good. Good value for money. Bars and restaurants near the hotel.

Kitchen was very well appointed with good quality dinnerware and a very good assortment of wine glasses; the best we have seen in our travels. Good location; close to a tram stop and a short ride to the city and Old Town area. We needed to dry some clothes quickly and used t - Nicolas and his wife were wonderful hosts.
