  This is a youth hostel but it is 5 star. The place was immaculate. I have stayed in Hiltons all over the world. This accommodation is up there with any of them. Reasonably priced. We stayed here for Schalke v Chelsea game on the 22nd October 2013 for 3 nights. 10 min walk to Bochum main railway station then 17 mins on train to the veltins arena. 2... mitä ihmiset sanovat » min walk to the Bermuda Triangle night life.   I loved the overall cosmopolitan atmosphere. Most of the staff was very friendly and quite helpful. The bathroom was very clean and so were the rooms. The temperature of the room was very nice. Breakfast was nice an copious. - The staff were very friendly and the place were very clean very easy to get on the train to the center of the city

  i like everything about it. I arrived there after I booked single room with a shared bathroom but they gave me one double decker room with a shower in it. The staffs are so nice, friendly and most of it, very helpful. I have a lot questions and they attend to all informatively.   When we arrived at the hostel (dec 8) we were met in a very friendly way by a blond guy. He is a great host! We felt welcome. I was together with my daughter and we found the hostel excellent.   it's a youth hostel in name but its more like a hotel. It's very clean, modern and spacious. The general decor is tasteful and it's quiet. It has 7 floors. The buffet style breakfast is simple but very nice. The room was nice and comfy. At night I couldn't hear other guests or noise from the street. It was good value for money and well located. In the area around the hostel there are restaurants and some b - I was very surprised by this hotel! I was attending a conference and all hotels were fully booked in Cologne so the only fair option was this hotel. I was expecting a terrible hostel but actually I got a nice and spacious room with a view to the cathedral!!! The room was simple but very clean with a comfortable shower and wc. I highly recommend if you want a great location in Koln for a very good price. Staff was great, breakfast simple. The building is also new. Ask for room 703!
