  We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday at Das Tergernsee and had a wonderful time. The entire reservation was handled professionally and efficiently and we were delighted with the room, menu and decor. The hotel is beautiful, with the most fantastic view of the lake. Our only regret was not spending more time in this lovely hotel.   Loved this hotel. We have stayed in Garmish on many occasions and find this to be the best accommodation yet. A little more expensive but worth it. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly.   The apartment was a real home-away-from-home, with a very welcoming feeling to it. This feeling was apparent every time we returned from a day out. The views from the lounge/dining room windows was a mountain scape, and included wild deer at times! The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Klais is close to the main towns of Garmisch and Mittenwald and is an ideal base for exploring Bavaria, Austria & Italy. We will definitely be booking again next year.

  The receptionist was very nice and helpful. The room is clean and well equipped.The nearby S-bahn train station is under construction, so it's better and more convenient to take tram to the hotel. And with the hot temps while we were there, the A/C came in handy. We would stay here again.

  We most enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the willingness of the staff to help in anyway. - We loved the buffet. It changed every night. It was delicious! The staff was super friendly and very helpful. Even a late check out for our sick friend was not a problem.
