  Easy walking distance to central station or indeed right to city centre (half an hour or so) if you like a stroll. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, comfortable room - no street noise that we heard. Nice little bar for a cheeky beer after a busy day. Public transport ans a few restaurants all in walking distance. We had a great time here and I highly recommend this - This was a spacious apartment with all the conveniences including cooking for a several days stay. It was well located in Oberammergau within easy walking distance of town. The owner was very helpful.& did our laundry, too. For the $Value-- this can't be beat. Although there was no wifi there was internet access through the cable. And there's a great bar--Jansen & Jansen--a block away with wifi and a friendly, English speaking owner.

  We most enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the willingness of the staff to help in anyway. - We loved the buffet. It changed every night. It was delicious! The staff was super friendly and very helpful. Even a late check out for our sick friend was not a problem.

  This was a first class hotel. The room was beautifully decorated but a bit dimly lit. Everything was very clean. Breakfasts were outstanding--one could order freshly fried eggs, omelettes, bacon etc. the buffet featured lots of meat, cheeses, breads and fresh fruit.
