  The ladies who manage the hotel were very nice and spoke some English. The room was spacious, comfortable and had an english speaking tv Channel (cnn). Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for dinner the evening of our stay and the two other restaurants in the small town were empty and overpriced so we had to drive to another town for dinner. B... mitä ihmiset sanovat » reakfast was excellent and the coffee was the best we had in 3 weeks of travelling through Europe. We assume the evening meal would have been equally - The comfy room, the breakfast was varied and plentiful,the location was close to town, swimming pool was a bonus and the large lawn out the back to relax in was wonderful on the hot days. The staff were very friendly and obliging.

  Staff was very helpful, room had a small sitting area plus a small balcony with table and 2 chairs, and all was very clean. The city of Konstanz provides free bus passes. To get them, show your passport and fill in a form with the hotel staff. Breakfast is available for an additional 8 euros per person. It had hot eggs and potatoes on the weekend,... mitä ihmiset sanovat » but was cold dishes only on weekdays. - We stayed here on our honeymoon and it was fantastic. It's outside of the main city area, but you get a free bus pass for the 10 minute ride downtown if you stay more than 2 nights. It's nice to be in a quieter area and right on the lake, which you don't get in the city center. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful as well.
