  Hosts were super friendly, we arrived late evening on a very cold Friday, they had already turned on all the heating so we were ushered into a really beautiful flat (and so well-equipped!) that was cozy and welcoming. Location is very central, just around the corner from the town square, everything is within a 10 minute walk. We also liked the size of the apartment (our young son could sleep in a separate room whilst we used the spacious living room). The aparment was also well furnished, fitted out and well equipped (other apartments we stayed at during our holiday didn't always have the utensils we needed).

  Beautiful, historic hotel in a superb location. The rooms are elegantly decorated and generally spacious. The breakfast was excellent - a delicious buffet in a stunning setting, looking out on the marketplace. We were there during Christmastime and the atmosphere was wonderful.   I was in Quedlinburg twice and both times I enjoyed staying in hotel Alter Fritz. Hostess is very friendly, room is clean and the breakfast was for every taste.   Our family (2 adults, one five year old) stayed her for a couple nights. Our daughter slept on the living room floor in a sleeping bag and we took the bedroom. It was a great place to stay. Old style timber on the outside, but modern on the inside. We called the owner on arrival and waited a few minutes to meet them. Kitchen fully equipped for making a simple dinner or breakfas - Quedlinburg is a very beautiful old town. A lot of work has been done to restore the old buildings. There are more buildings to restore and when they are all finished it will be like walking back in time, with all the narrow cobbled streets. This town is well worth a visit
