The appearance and originality of the building. There are many interesting items in the property such as old sewing machines which give a homey feel. The sympathetic but quality renovation of the property allows one to enjoy the experience of being in an old building with the benefits of modern living.
The bathroom is very nicely fitted out and good water pressure in the shower.
The location makes for a quiet night's sleep but it is a bit out of the town.
The staff members were extremely friend. kaikki arvostelut
The ölmühle is great. Great service, great atmosphere, great food, and
wines to match. They have excellent indoor and outdoor dining. I liked
everything about my stay. I really like the owner/operators. I am
from the usa, and lived in Germany for 3 years in the late 1980s and
have stayed in many Gasthaus and smaller Hotels. I have been to Germany
10 times in the last 10 years. I would stay again, My third floor room
was new and modern, in the German style. The bathroom was new and super
nice. W.
The hotel was exceptional. Every detail was attended to. The hotel was immaculate. The staff was very friendly - we felt like we were part of the family. The food was outstanding and was provided in a dining room beautiful with flowers and starched white linen. The dessert I had was not only delicious, it looked like it should be on the cover of a gourmet cooking magazine it was so wonderfully displayed. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone.
EVERYTHING! The proprietor, Chris, and his wife ( the wonderful chef) restored the hotel and grounds, and the results are beautiful. You are made to feel like you're at home. We spends many hours on the patio enjoying their great wines and food. Rooms and bathrooms are very up to date.
Customer friendly staff, very nice bathroom & amneties, very clean accomodation, large options for the TV chanels. Cosy restaurant and despite of the limited selection of food, the menu was very atractive.
Quite nice, newly renovated hotel close to the center of the small town of Landstuhl. Rooms and quality of sleep (2nd floor) have been pretty good and the restaurant is really recommendable.
Staff were very friendly even though my family and I had to arrive at 1:30am due to issues on the road and getting to the hotel on time. Staff had no problem staying around.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are lovely and immaculate. The restaurant was very good with excellent service.
We had a very pleasant stay. The owners were very friendly and the food was superb. I would highly recommend the place.
Really wonderful place with nice big rooms, lots of comfort, the food was excellent and the staff was super friendly.
Very newly renovated/modern Very accommodating staff Big comfortable
room Excellent price.
The staff is fabulous - the food is excellent. Lisa and Chris are wonderful hosts!.
Service, food, ambience, cleanliness, modern comforts in old
German setting.
great hospitality, kind reception, excellent restaurant.
Friendly service, Good food and spotless hotel.
Absolutely excellent.
A very minor point that the TV was up high on the wall on a bracket when the room is plenty big enough for it to be free-standing and normal level. It detracted from the rest of the pleasant and up-market layout of the room.
If you need an elevator.... If not no issues.
Nothing. Hated to leave!.
The beds matress were very hard; we suggest to extend the offering for b/fast and to increase the menu options.
The hotel has no elevator, so you have to carry your bags up through a relatively narrow stairway. Reception closes at 10 pm. No SPA. Wireless pretty slow.
The price of the hotel was pretty high compared to some other hotels in the area. The hotel was very nice though so this is only a very minor problem.
Can't think of anything.
The only thing I can think off that perhaps a minibar with some cold drinks would be nice in the hotel room (there was a couple of bottles of water though), other than that everything was perfect!.
Heater took a very long time to work Not convenient to city center.
Really sad not to have down comforters and pillows. I strongly associate
German hotels/gasthaus with those delicious sheets and soft down.
This place had sheets, pillows and comforters to rival the American
Motel 6. Really disappointing for an otherwise wonderful place.
Not many things I did not like , only some minor things , pillows
uncomfortable and no chair to sit on in the room . I hate to sit or lie
on the bed all the time.
