  Loved the location of the hotel which is so close to the DOM Cathedral, the Rhine River (which extends to 4 countries) the city center with shops, pick up point for city tour and Cologne's tourist center. Restaurants abound in its vicinity. Hotel room was enormous ( we got upgraded), clean but styled in the 80's. For those with heavy luggage, there is one flight of stairs to take you - The room was as advertised, clean with all required amenities. Breakfast was awesome with a wide choice of hot and cold food and beverages. Staff was really welcoming and helpful plus they offer you as much fruits as you want and one free bottle of water daily, which was really fantastic. The location is also just a 5 minute walk from the Dom and central station plus there is a metro station just in front of the hotel. Great experience and hotel!

  Great location. Wonderfully comfortable rooms. The breakfasts were verygood with a great variety of different foods on offer. The staff, everyone that we came across, were more than excellent, without exception. Ihave never been to a hotel where I have been able to say that! - The staff at the Marriott were extremley helpful and friendly.   I loved my room. It was big, the beds were really comfortable and although the room looked a bit old, it was clean and I felt there like at home. The staff of the hotel was also nice and helped us as much as they could. I also can't forget the breakfast. For free breakfast it was truly amazing! Overall great value for money! I'm glad I choose this hotel and I really enjoyed my stay. :) - The price was fantastic for it's Location we went to the Christmas Markets which was a lovley walk over the Rhine river (Bridge) about good 15-20 min casual stroll. And a fantastic Bakery near Hotel less 2min walk that you must try. Staff were very friendly and customer service as fantastic. We loved our stay at hotel. Expecially the Hotel was a place to sleep not to sit around in.
