  Great location in a walking distance to KaDeWe, Kurfurstendamm Strasse and Berlin Zoo. Subway station is just few meters away from the hotel. There is a supermarket just across a street and few restaurants around the hotel. Rooms are quite big and clean with free wi-fi.   A great concept for a budget-friendly hotel. The rooms are compact but I didn't feel hemmed in at all. Use of space has been very well thought out. Plenty of hooks to hang things up. Design is very modern. Great shower! Staff were helpful and welcoming. Great location - a minutes walk to the U-bahn, KaDeWe and the shops along the Kurfürstendamm St... mitä ihmiset sanovat » raße. 8 minute walk to the Zoo U-bahn to get the express bus to Tegel for €2.60. a pleasant stay in a clean, modern, budget- friendly hotel. - Great location, close to Zoologischer Garten railway station (where the airport bus arrives and departs) and moments away from an U-Bahn station. The room was spacious and comfortable with a good bathroom. There is free WiFi throughout the hotel. The street has little traffic and is very quiet at night. Excellent value for money.

  Almost everything about this hotel is fantastic. Very smart rooms with ultra modern decor. Bathroom open plan with room but toilet does have sliding door for privacy. Shower is great with multiple modes and no problems with going hot or cold. Bed is comfy with separate single duvets. Very pleasant and efficient reception staff. Incredibly well plac - It would be impossible to list what I loved about the Axel; I've searched to find something that could be improved, but the rooms, the location, the decor, the dedication fo the regitry staff to help in every way..are all outstanding. I had some shower problems with the hotwater, and both times, the young man at the desk came almost immediately to resolve the problem...and did so, graciously.and efficiently.
