  it's a youth hostel in name but its more like a hotel. It's very clean, modern and spacious. The general decor is tasteful and it's quiet. It has 7 floors. The buffet style breakfast is simple but very nice. The room was nice and comfy. At night I couldn't hear other guests or noise from the street. It was good value for money and well located. In the area around the hostel there are restaurants and some b - I was very surprised by this hotel! I was attending a conference and all hotels were fully booked in Cologne so the only fair option was this hotel. I was expecting a terrible hostel but actually I got a nice and spacious room with a view to the cathedral!!! The room was simple but very clean with a comfortable shower and wc. I highly recommend if you want a great location in Koln for a very good price. Staff was great, breakfast simple. The building is also new. Ask for room 703!

  This was my second stay because I enjoy this hostel's quiet location. It is meters from the famous Dom and main train station. We came for the Christmas markets and it was wonderful. The rooms were warm and not completely full so it was very peaceful. - Very good location. I booked three beds in four-beds female room.   Much less expensive than many of the other EuropeN cities we stayed in, cologne was a great addition to our trip! This hostel is great for backpackers Nd youn couples who need a budget friendly option. The room was clean and cozy. We paid extra for a private bathroom and it was very nice. Security was outstanding and we felt very safe. - It is very flexible and does not cheat : a very good hostel, well maintained with nice atmosphere and friendly staff. It is also difficult not to meet anyone there. Then the dormitories are spacious and in good condition. No fear of gloomy rooms. Everything is à la carte : you add whatever you want - like the breakfast. It is also very close to the main station.

  I loved the overall cosmopolitan atmosphere. Most of the staff was very friendly and quite helpful. The bathroom was very clean and so were the rooms. The temperature of the room was very nice.   1) Extremely clean (one could even eat from the restroom floor). 2) Super-fast, free, wireless Internet (1.5 Mbit/s !!!) with great reception both in the hotel room and in the kitchen-lobby. 3) Big kitchen with plenty of gas-cookers (5 or 6), a microwave, cookware and plastes and dishes, etc. 4) Shower room with 4 shower cubicals, so one never had... mitä ihmiset sanovat » to wait in line. 5) Free parking in front of the hotel (squeezing in the car was a bit difficult though). 6) 3 supermarkets (Penny, Aldi, Lidl), fast - 1) Proximity to the nearby S-train station and thus to the city center. 2) High-speed free Internet. 3) Extremely clean. 4) Big kitchen with cooking equipment. 5) Plenty of fast-food restaurants and supermarkets around the corner. 6) Free parking in front of hostel. 7) No waiting in the shower-room (4 cubicals). 8) Very friendly couple, who is running the hostel. 9) Excellent value for money.
