  Everything was excellent. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff, as well as very efficient. The apartments were gorgeous - spacious, very well maintained and comfortable. The balcony (with table and chairs as well) - a definite plus. The apartments only seem a bit sparsely furnished because they are so roomy. The kitchen was very convenient - this was the feature that attract - There are so many excellent things about the Apartments, but it would be difficult not to mention first of all the location. It is 5 minutes from the station and the Cathedral. Normally that would sound warning bells as many hotels close to city centre stations are in seedy areas. This is not the case here; the neighbourhood is a pleasure to walk around and entirely safe. The staff are extremely friendly, efficient and helpful. The apartments are very spacious with all the facilities one needs

  It was good value for money and so close to the train station. - We stayed for 4 nights at the hotel Berg, our room (no.22) was clean andbright, with a window facing a quiet backyard. The double room is quitespacious and the hotel staff did their best in making up the room everyday. The shared shower room was just right outside of our door.   Excellent: Uwe is a really nice guy, very approachable and helpful. My flight was delayed by 2 hours, getting into Cologne at 1am in morning, yet he still stayed up to let me in. Bedroom: spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Apartment: clean, organised, relaxing.   I really liked to stay in the Kölner Pension, it was just round the corner to get the train or subway, just one stop from the central train station, the room was quite big enough, very clean and confortable. The girl that worked there was really nice and corteous, she helped us a lot.
