  The location was excellent. We booked a room with a view of Neuschwanstein Castle and it was all it was made out to be - just wonderful. There are only 6 rooms here with most only 1 flight up. It's a quick 5 minute walk to the ticket center for the castle & the King's childhood home. It's the perfect location to visit the 2 castles in the neighbourhood, and is at walking distance to the ticket selling building (1 km).
