Brilliant!! We traveled to Heidelberg with our 13 year old son to experience a traditional Christmas Market. The location of the hotel was amazing. It was a bit of a walk from the train station, but absolutely perfect for shopping, eating, and sightseeing. We didn't have many encounters with staff, but the few we saw were friendly. The hotel has a Michelin rated restaurant - we did not get a chance to eat there, but it smelled amazing and was always pretty full. The room was so reasonably price. kaikki arvostelut »
The hotel was in a great location. On a side street, close to shops, restaurants etc.but quieter at night than many city hotels. Easy to find if you arrive by car.
The decor was charming and immaculate. The young woman who escorted us to our rooms could not have been more helpful!
The restaurant meal was first class, the waitstaff was very professional the food delicious and worth the price. Breakfast was a good value for the money. No parking, but the garage was five minute walk away and fairl.
Weisser Bock is a beautiful hotel, in a great location. The staff are great, very friendly and helpful. The hotel is also exceptionally well priced.We were only able to stay in Heidelberg for one night and wish we had been able to stay longer.
We would use Weisser Bock again and would definitely recommend them to others.
Great location in Old Town near the university, restaurants and the river. Room size was generous. Decorating was fresh and modern. The historic building was interesting. Breakfast was very good. Staff members were very helpful. Room rate was reasonable.
I wasn't well on arrival at 10am and the man on reception was very considerate and ensured I got a room immediately. He kindly enquired as to my health daily. The breakfast waitress remembered my name the next day.

Location of the hotel is in the old city and really convenient.
It's a very nice old street covered with cobblestones. All building
are well renovated and colorful. Nice feeling to stay in a historical
atmosphere. Room had two different levels which was a bit weird but ok.
Bed was comfortable enough. Water pressure in the shower was good.
Their restaurant is such an excellent place in terms of food, wine and
service quality.
We loved the beautiful, buffet breakfast. Location was excellent. Close to buses once you discovered which was the correct one to take. (35) at the bottom of the road. WIfi was fine.

- Having to drive through narrow streets with sitting diners to drop off bags at hotel
- No parking at hotel but staff emailed a map to city parking site and gave discount (Cost Euro 8 overnight).
Beds were a little small; since the building is old there was no Air Conditioning and it was very hot during our stay - would probably not be an issue most of the time.

I stayed in single room on 2nd Floor which was looking towards inner
courtyard. Below there is a glass roof and all noise coming from kitchen
was directly in my room until the staff has finished their work and left
the kitchen at very late night. Shower cabin in the bathroom has an
insulation problem, water is directly coming out of the cabin and all
floor of bathroom was wet after the shower.
This is a restaurant with a hotel attached. It was very noisy and started early and went late. The staircases beyond the reach of the lift are up and down and help is needed to move luggage to or from the reception area or your room. You need to insist that you get help with the movement of your luggage.
