Although the room was small, it was clean and nicely furnished and the bathroom was big, with a shower cabin made of glass. The breakfast was ok and the lady who prepares everything there in the morning was nice. The room was well done. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast room was nice. Cable tv and Internet included. Very quaint and authentically German. The staff was nice because I dont speak a single german world and the staff has called for me a taxi , it was just so great.

The hotel is great i will go there again on my next visit to Friedrichshafen Rooms were modern new and clean breakfast was good but nothing special staff was very friendly and flexible overall i'd rate the hotel 7 out of 10. Quiet location, comfortable bed, responsive staff. Breakfast selection was sufficient. Peaceful location, low price, adequate room, public parking across the road. Location to train station. the breakfast. The location of the hotel is good, near to the train station, bus station and ferry. The rooms are silent. No reception and therefore need to call a number which was written on the door. For somebody that does not speak English or German (not my case) it can be difficult to get in the building following the indications of the guy on telephone. Another thing is that breakfast is being server only starting from 7 o'clock, so if you want to get up earlier and leave, you won't eat. Shower was scary. The shower floor didn't have any anti-slip covering and there were no hand rails should you accidentally slip. As soon as you add soap it was a dangerous place. Needed to search for the entrance for a couple of minutes - better signs would help. Somewhat unclear about the phone-assisted check-in (better signs would help), but once on the phone there were no problems. Narrow stairs for me to haul big luggages, no elevator. Heating in the room not fully controllable making room too warm, and with warm duvet compounding the overnight comfort factor. Lack of 'ordinary' black tea (eg English Breakfast etc.) Door access not user friendly on days 1 and 2, though ok on day 3. no reception - you need to phone to get the entrance code. Directions from website to hotel were longer than necessary. We found a shorter route after carrying our luggage to the hotel the long way. it was cold in the room. We see only one woman during our stay. She is in the breakfast room, also in the reception. I don't know she is the owner of the hotel or only working there. In the breakfast room I feel myself a student and she is the teacher who has strict rules. I really feel myself very uncomfortable. The bed is also very uncomfortable. Very big problems to have the invoice with all the information that I needed, staff, an old lady did not speak one word of English, continuous fall down lines for the Wi-Fi... I will never back in this hotel!.
