  The hostel was clean and modern and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Everything you need is nearby like supermarkets, chemists, restaurants and cafes and there is even a kiosk across the road. Having the Piusstraße U-Bahn station right out the door was also a bonus! The Weltempfänger Hostel is great value for money and I would definat... mitä ihmiset sanovat » ely stay there again! :) - The rooms were spacious, the beds comfy, they had free wireless and the bathrooms were nicer than some youth hostels ive been in, they also had a great late breakfast and check out time and the staff were all really cool and helpful. To top it all off, the price was really competitive. I cant recommend this place more.

  This was my second stay because I enjoy this hostel's quiet location. It is meters from the famous Dom and main train station. We came for the Christmas markets and it was wonderful. The rooms were warm and not completely full so it was very peaceful. - Very good location. I booked three beds in four-beds female room.   A rather well-located holel. It take s 5-10 minutes to get to main railway station and about 20 minutes to get to airport by S-Bahn. (the station is literally 2 minutes walking distance from the hotel). The 'Single room' is quite small, but cozy with all the necessary accessories provided. A lot of shops and cafes around. The room (single room with shared bathroom) was clean and a good place to have some rest after a rough night. The shared facilities were also clean and new. They also offer a late-checkout option for 5 euros.

  it's a youth hostel in name but its more like a hotel. It's very clean, modern and spacious. The general decor is tasteful and it's quiet. It has 7 floors. The buffet style breakfast is simple but very nice. The room was nice and comfy. At night I couldn't hear other guests or noise from the street. It was good value for money and well located. In the area around the hostel there are restaurants and some b - I was very surprised by this hotel! I was attending a conference and all hotels were fully booked in Cologne so the only fair option was this hotel. I was expecting a terrible hostel but actually I got a nice and spacious room with a view to the cathedral!!! The room was simple but very clean with a comfortable shower and wc. I highly recommend if you want a great location in Koln for a very good price. Staff was great, breakfast simple. The building is also new. Ask for room 703!
