Clean room, small but practical. Loads of bars/resteraunts just up the road, plus there was a market round the corner on certain dates. Serviced by two Ubahn stations a v short distance away that will get you into central Berlin easily enough. Not going to win any awards, but for the price per night exaclty what we needed

- The staff were really friendly and great. My sudden visit to this hotel was unexpected due to cancelled flight. Whilst at the airport I decided to book a room at Meininger Hotel for easy access back to the airport very early next morning. Upon submitting my request to stay one night on letsbookhotel.com I was virtually checked in to a room straight away at about 9am. Hotel was walking distance to most of the sights. Once you find the hotel it is easy to find your way back. The difficulty was by car locating the hotel and how to drive there. The entrance is not on a main road but on a tiny 1-way street that runs between 2 main roads. A friend who grew up in Berlin was driving me and we circled a few times before spotting the entrance to the hotel. I'm sure a taxi driver would have no trouble locating it. Lots of shops nearby as well as a train station.
