  For a short ( 3 night) stay in central Berlin, we found it very good value for money. The rooms were very basic, but clean. We were really only at the hotel for sleeping and breakfast. (Not so good if you expect to spend a lot of time in your room; e.g. no tv).   The hostel is located really in a very good place. There is underground just close to it and there are many good places to eat just near the entrance of the hostel.   The staff were very, very nice and helpful. The fact that the reception is open 24h is really nice as well. I liked the room, which was very clean, and well planned so that the fact that it was quite small didn't really matter. The bathroom was very nice and clean. Excellent breakfast with top quality products/ingredients! This was a 2nd stay at Hotel Johann and we will certainly come back.

  The staff is very polite and do their work well. Their facilities are also in very good conditions, and the staff is very receptive to fix any problems that may occur. The bathroom/wc and kitchen and living area is being cleaned every day. Overall the place is very comfortable and you really get your value for money. I had contact with the people by mail before ..I came on time ..everything was ready and clean ..she explain about the room and bathroom and give me the keys ..and told me where I could drop them by check out ..paid ..and that was it ..I could straitgh away enjoy my citytrip :-)
