We did walk there from the Hauptbahnhof, but it is a long walk- I would recommend taking the tram. The neighborhood is very cute and quiet, with a playground a block away.   Good location, close to the autobahn. Very good meal in the resturant and a nice breakfast in the morning. The resturant seemed to be very popular with the locals. The staff was all very nice and spoke some English. - I think the hotel had just opened, so a few things were still not in place.
