The courtyard garden with it's fountain is secluded fro the outside world and is a lovely place for Breakfast. My difficulty with the room assigned to me, I did not cope we'll with the two levels of steep stairs was overcome after one night. I did have a comfortable enough sleep, the proprietors who speak little English switched me to another room for the second night which they had promised after they could see I was not coping. It was very important to them that I enjoy my experience at La M.
