The staff are really excellent. Great buffet breakfast. The rooms are spotless and the bathrooms well appointed if a little small!!! Towel racks are well heated. Bed comfortable and little touches such as sweets on the bed are very nice. The location is to die for. Highly recommend this hotel - it has got everything right. Great budget place to stay as it's inside the walled part of the city, shops and restaurants are on the doorstep, the ferry port is 5 minutes walk away, the continental breakfast sets you up for the day, the best night's sleep we had in St Malo, and the staff could not have been more useful and friendly.
kaikki arvostelut » We really liked the decor of the room, the view of the ramparts (and of the sea if you stood on the bed), the free wifi and also the location was superb. The beds were comfortable (not too soft). The staff at reception were really helpful. It was good value considering breakfast was included and the location was amazing. As in all the hotels in this chain, it was clean and tidy and what you generally expect of an Ibis with regards to facilities. Fantastic, basically!!!. The location, breakfast, helpful and friendly staff. The tiniest lift I have ever seen - you need to put your baggage in the lift and then run up or down several flights of stairs to meet it. Luckily we were only on the first floor!. The reception of my dog. I was given a large room on the ground floor to accommodate her. Breakfast was good and efficiently presented. We were on the top floor and it was the smallest lift I've ever used. Our bathroom door didn't close properly and one of the toilet roll holders was broken. No tea or coffee-making facilities in our room (there are in reception though). It would be nice if there was a bit more of an atmosphere in the reception area. The lift was a bit small, some rooms were a little remote from reception and there was no allocated parking. However, parking was cheep near by and the hotel and city were fantastic overall. The noise! Walls are very thin and guests in neighbouring rooms were very loud, late at night and again early in the morning. Everything else was good. No indication on how to reach the hotel by car. I had to leave it in an outside car park to find it on foot. The staircase to the upper floors was very narrow and the lift claustrophobic. There was no lift in the bit where we stayed and we were in Rm 303. Also, there was no guarantee of being able to park close by, altho we were lucky. the hotel didn't have a lift. During the day parking fee is quite high. romms are small but clean and modern. Rooms were small. Noise carried easily. Finding a parking spot can be a challenge. Bed in our room was quite hard and not as comfortable as I had hoped. Parking, or rather lack of it. The hotel does not have parking and you have to fend for yourself in a crowded city - we felt luck to find a place on the street not too far from the hotel. Extra charges for some things for example bike storage was an extra 10 euros per night per bike. Noise from revellers in the street outside can be a problem at night. Nothing :-). A very busy couple in the next room during the night. The acoustics were a little too effective. Bed too hard, room a bit noisy. Tiny rooms with paper thin walls but ok for a night or two. Nothing. Told as I booked via letsbookhotel.com I was not entitled to the points. we had a room at the top and the elevator was the smallest we have ever seen, Only suitable for one person. No lift, meager breakfast except for fresh orange juice, found cigarette butts in toilet, room smelt of smoks despite of smoke free floor, rooms are small and unclean, expensive.
