Everything! Phillipe was a super host, the hotel design was very well thought out for an old building, rooms, restaurant, garden and pool area were immaculate and extremely comfortable. The locatio being only 2 minutes from the motorway to Limoges made it extremely convenient. The food was exceptional. Pretty much everything. no.3 dowith does not have an option,' medieval inn easy access motorway, but quiet except for the church clock, modernised with taste. Staff helpful and friendly. Bed huge and comfortable. Good bathroom. Good food. Nice pool.

Friendly English speaking staff. Lovely downstairs huge room. Excellent WiFi. Good restaurant and breakfast. Very convenient just off motorway south of Limoges. Easy parking and good value. This is a fascinating historical building, beautifully cared for. We were made comfortable in a large well decorated room, and well looked after for the length of our stay. Its location. The old quaintness and history of the building. Close proximity to major motorway but in a delightful village. The manager's friendliness and helpfulness. Second time we have stayed here (see review Aug 2012). Even better this time as parking available in front of the hotel. Lovely hotel with relaxed atmosphere and staff really looked after you. Felt like a boutique hotel and wonderful stay. Really close to the A20 so great for a stopover. Large room accessed via the garden. Very pretty. Good Food. Location, near the Autoroute. Dining experience. Food was very nice (although not cheap). Staff was very friendly and the location is very good looking village. Nothing at all not to like. Owing to medieval structure, the first floor had lots of little stairs because of slightly different levels. Visitors expected to stay one night, so little storage room for clothes, while the hotel is a perfect base for a holiday. Maybe other rooms had more storage. The was nothing we did not like. Absolutely nothing. Bells from the church the other side of the road. the room was small. Nothing. Well equipped disabled room but access was down a few stairs. Beware of the church bells opposite which chime the hour twice all through the night!! We had a very anxious night expecting food poisoning as the venison stew we ordered for supper was frozen and not cooked through, it was still ice in the middle. We were given a reduction of two drinks from our bill it would have been better not to have been charged for the main course which was inedible and dangerous!!!. food okay for families but could be better. Unable to access hotel for over an hour after arrival at 4.30 pm. No water or drink making facilities in room. Nothing savoury( not sweet) at breakfast. Late check-in at 6.00pm with no access to wait until that time. Church bell right outside my window kept me up all night.
