The friendliness and enthusiasm of the new owners. The large shared central area where breakfast is served and there is a small bar, sofas, books and games to relax and chat with fellow guests. Good selection of local jams and honeys for breakfast. Wifi. Good value. Bidet in bathroom. Even though Murol is very small there are several good places to eat within a few minutes' walk. I wish the new owners good luck - they are a young couple with a dream and they deserve to do well!.
kaikki arvostelut » We loved this hotel. The propriators did everything to make our stay comfortable. The hotel has a free car-park, and is right in the town from which we could walk everywhere. The continental breakfast was quite good as well. The room was spacious and had good heating. The bathroom had a good shower as well. Murol is one of the most interesting places that we have ever stayed in - Don't miss the Musee des Peintres de l'Ecole de Murol!. The owners were lovely, very friendly and gave us ideas of places to eat and things to do. In the evenings after going for dinner we were very comfortable sitting in the large lounge area having a drink and using the wifi. If I was ever in the area again I would not stay anywhere else. This small family run hotel is in the ideal location for exploring the volcanos of the Auvergne. The owners are friendly and offered lots of advice about what to visit in the area. The hotel was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was served with local jams and home made yoghurts!. A family-owned hotel, with great care for details. The room was large, the bathroom spacious. The ambiance is excellent. The owners gave me suggestions about places to visit and how to reach them. Breakfast was magnificent, with locally made food. Friendly staff. Interesting & different breakfast. Lovely bathroom. Closeness to village.Outside space. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. Friendly welcome, and located in a nice town. Very very kindly and helpfull host-couple. Very friendly english speaking couple. Excellent hosts. Owner took time to point out local attractions to us.Very good continental breakfast with all home made produce. Good beds. Safe parking, Qiuet. The decor, especially of the bathrooms, is very out-dated. However, I think the rooms probably are being done up and ours just happened to be one that has not been done yet. Only a hand-held shower (in the bath). Plastic flowers in the bedroom -would far rather have no flowers at all!. Nothing. It was a great experience. No hair-dryer in the bathroom. I didn't find any wireless network, but I didn't bother to ask as I stayed for 1 night only and had my 3G connection. The matress was very old and uncomfortable. The breakfast was too poor for the money. Broken shower attachment, could only use as a telephone shower. Very small public sitting area. Neglected public areas outside.
