Our first experience of staying on a working farm which we thoroughly enjoyed. They breed racehorses as part of their business and had some foals which was a real bonus. The host told us they have a policy of eating with their guests at dinner as they feel it is important to look after people properly. We had a lively discussion in French - aided by generous servings of wine and Calvados! Typical French country food - good quality, well cooked. They where friendly, welcoming, and very nice people. The food was good, accommodation excellent, hoping to stay again in the future.
