Set in a 18th-century farm house, this bed and breakfast is 5 km from Falaise. It offers free Wi-Fi access in public areas and free hot beverages in the lounge, just a 40-minute drive from Caen. A seating area and views of the garden and courtyard are offered in the rooms at La Vieille Ferme. All have an en suite bathroom and some rooms have original wooden beams. Continental breakfast is provided every morning in the dining room. The hosts can also prepare local dishes from home-grown produce and children’s meals upon request. You can watch French and English TV or DVDs in the lounge or play on the trampoline in the children's garden. If you have a car, private parking is free on site, Camembert is a 20-minute drive away and Argentan Train Station is 26 km away.

This was an excellent overnight stop both going and returning from our holiday. My family of 5 where easily accommodated within a beautiful room. La Vieille Ferme is a well run B+B. It is located within the countryside but close enough to the main A88 motorway. It is clean, well kept and nothing was too much trouble. My children enjoyed the trampoline, slide and table tennis which they were allowed to use. The couple who run it are very friendly and clearly put their heart into running a succes.
kaikki arvostelut » The owners were welcoming. The lounge area had many books and brochures, as well as wifi. Good breakfast - we were offered delicious scrambled eggs from the resident hens. Twin room suited us (mother & adult son). Situated where we wanted to be, but also easily reachable from the Caen ferry so could be a useful overnight stop before heading south. I liked the family friendly run business in a very old farm which has been modernised enough for a comfortable stay but not lost its charm and peace. Good food and the opportunity to enjoy a several course dinner with wine. Good centre for studying the route of 8 August 1944 and the huge battle that was the Falaise Gap. Slept well. Relaxing. Thank you. Peter and Su were excellent hosts and we had a really amazing dinner. The best meal of our trip to France!! Breakfast was excellent too. The building is old and full of charm. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area. Very pleasant stay with good welcome and attention. Comfortable bed in spacious room. Use of well-equipped guest lounge with comfortable seating, television, tea and coffee tray. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Thank you, Peter and Su, from Pat and Jim. it was clean,quiet and very welcoming.our room was well appointed.the couple who own it were friendly and welcoming.the food was excellent and if in that part of france again is the only place i would consider staying. We really liked our stay at La Vieille Ferme. Very kids friendly and awesome diner! The owners welcomed us very well and did everything to make our stay very comfortable. We only wished we could have stayed longer!. A very warm welcome even though I was very late because of the ferry and difficulty in finding it in the dark. The breakfast was perfect as was everything else in my very short stay. I will do my best to return. The setting of the old farm; the superb cooking; the welcome; tea to drink on arrival; table tennis; the ambience; country/village setting; relaxed; value for money. Great staff in a country farm setting and an excellent meal. What more could you ask for? A Great Bargain !!!!. Lovely B&B in beautiful surroundings. Su and Peter are excellent hosts. I ate to much. Not such a good en-suite and shower. Room bit hot.....but arrived during a heatwave!. Seine Maritime room. A little dark - roof light only but facilities in room good. Nothing. Noise. Walls very thin, could hear everything in neighbouring rooms, some updating needed to fixtures and décor. Bathroom a little Spartan / decoration leaves something to be desired. Small beds, noisy trains, paper thin walls, noisy door catches. Basin leaked across floor and plug didnt work. Very hard to find inadequate signing.
