  Great stuff, safe parking, no elevator and bit a far from city center… But the food and beer is so cheap and good that I can’t image my trip back to Prague without this hotel!   After a weekend of alcoholic debauchery in Brno, my girlfriend and me had a last stop at Prague before leaving home. And really, this was such a difference compared to what we've experienced in Brno. The stop was the Golden Star hotel, a home from home with friendly personnel who helped us immediately. Sure, the climb up - We liked the location of the hotel - just below the Castle. It looks like an old building but nicely renovated. Cosy and romantic, with a lot of wooden and "golden" details. The breakfast room has a beautiful view to the Old town. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, kettle and tea/coffee in the room...We would be happy to stay at Golden Star again.

  Loved that it was not right in the city center but very close. Walkable distance so we took advantage of that. Very close to the metro stations as well when didnt feel like walking. Good restaurants and pubs around that are not filled with tourists. We were the only tourists in most pubs and great Czech food unless meat and bread aren't your thing... mitä ihmiset sanovat » . Apartment is very clean, but seems they clean it only once before your arrival. if you stay for long period, better ask Dean about cleaning service.   The hotel had a lovely tranquil feel to it. The room with ensuite bathroom was lovely. The staff were really friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. - Rooms are clean and unlikely to many other hotels - equipped with hair dryers. Does not matter for me but for my wife - it does.

  we had 4 windows in the room and bathroom with good views of the old town.Nice cosy bar/restaurant. Breakfast was average, but the evening meals were very good and a very good price too.All in all we really liked the hotel and would be happy to go there again. - All in all ist a very nice hotell
