I was very pleased that as soon as I have booked the room I received a greeting email from the individual renting the room and giving me full and easy steps instructions to follow on how to find the location and as well he offered even at a very cheap price to come pick us up at airport! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in downtown old Zadar. it is close to all amenities and very clean.

Even at night it was calm place, not so much disturb sound from pedestrian street under the window. Everything was really good. A big appartment and the perfect location to see the old town. You can even be picked up from the airport for a small amount of money. Great value for the money. Very nice little apartment, clean, super friendly host, gave us a run down on what to see in Zadar. Restaurants and bars all within a stone's throw. Definitely recommend!. Excellent location, in the heart of Zadar. Very clean and comfortable. Owner very helpful and friendly. Great value for money. We had a terrible time finding the place, and had to ask some local shop owner to help us call the owner of the apartment. It was not well marked. There should be clearer instructions on how to find the apartment and how to get the key. Once you get in, all is fine!. nothing bad to say. Everything was ok!. Not easy to find, at pushbuttons in gate no information. No stuff, it is needed to call him. quite tight when other rooms are occupied. Finding the place was not easy. I would not recommend. Received a lecture from the person checking me for not speaking Croatian (my last name is croatian so of course I have to speak it). Then we were woken up after midnight when he was checking in another guest, instead of speaking softly, he spoke loudly as if no-one was in the next room. Would not recommend the place at all. Address : wrong address so confusing to find Access : should have called in advance more than 30 min. Before arrive to avoid waiting the staff on the hot street to enter the apartment Shower booth : plugged with junk of hairs so had to shower with ankle-deep in water Extra bed charge : had to pay 10 Euro even though I said my toddler would sleep with us using existing beds Kitchen : lack of utensils for example, too small pots or pans for family. Late at check in. No parching: that is a great problem in zara like traffic and cueues. Double booking, how is that possible with booking?! Guy made us wait for 1 hour and when we call him again he says it was a double booking, he was in the appartment when we were waiting at the door.. Sounded pretty drunk on the phone.. Not a hostel or B&B, this is just an appartment you share with other guests. No reception so had to wait around 40 minutes until the host came to open the door (had to phone him before, there was no one there, no sign, nothing to find the place). The area is extremely noisy, almost impossible to sleep, no free parking close to it. NO WIFI, they send you to a free WiFi city area, pathetic. Avoid at all cost.
