As previously mentioned in other comments he gives you a mobile phone with his contact details and should you need anything you can give him a call which put our mind at rest. Rooms were very clean, spacious for 2 people and furnished really nicely almost as if in a hotel room. The kitchen - Jurica, the apt owner, arranged for us to be collected from the ferry port and we were helped with our bags. He gave us some helpful info about the city and gave us a mobile so we could call him if we needed anything. He also offered to drive us to the airport for a reasonable amount. The apartment was in an old building but had been renovated to an excellent standard. It was in a very good location, close to the palace, riva and good restaurants.   The location is fantastic: 5 minutes walk to Diocletian's Palace, but tucked around the back of a building and thus absolutely quiet. Central Split can be a raucous party scene, but Royal Suites is dead quiet, despite its proximity. The staff is also absolutely fantastic. Someone also waited up for our arrival at 11 PM on a Sunday night. The - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Royal Suites, which is ideally situated near the old town. The highlight was the outstanding attitude of the staff, who provided us with excellent advice and support. Nothing was too much trouble for Maria, Tony, Tina and Lana. The room was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed excellent breakfasts. We would certainly stay at the hotel again.

  The apartment was beautifully decorated with a great seaview. It was compact, complete, comfortable and cozy. It is in a perfect location close to a beach but within walking distance to ferries and the main tourist area of Split. It was great value for the money. The landlady picked us up from the bus terminal in the pouring rain.   Apartments Gajeta was by far the most comfortable stay we had on our visit to Croatia. It's located in the heart of split old town. Just steps away from great shopping restaurants and the Old Palace. The staff is extremely courteous and very helpful. He was very apologetic for the error and couldn't have been more helpful or forthcoming on their er - We were staying in Mljet and missed the once a week ferry to Korcula on the Sunday and therefore had to head back to Dubrovnik and then get a bus. Because of this we missed our ferry later that day out of split. This apartment we viewed online and was perfect to tie us over until our ferry the following day, we got upgraded to the 4 person apartment, it was in a great location and very clean and tidy. Recommend for anyone heading to split.
