We were a little early - Easter, which was chilly and rainy, but Rovinj is beautiful regardless. I recommend going in early May to have everything open, yet still quiet. We loved having an apartment so we could shop and make breakfast for ourselves. We asked for the room with the balcony, which we loved on our one sunny day. The location of the hotel is perfect. It doesn't have a sea view, but it is right in the middle of the tiny cobbled streets and overlooks a very old church. Leo, the owner,.
kaikki arvostelut » This is great place very central to what you want to see. The room is excellent as is Leo the manager who is helpful and friendly. You will probably need to call him prior however to find the place as it can be difficult. Otherwise this is a very good place to stay - I wish we had longer to stay here. Perfect place and value for money. Apartment is in the old town of Rovinj, few meters away from the sea and best restaurants in town. Appartment is small but very well equipped and organized. If you can choose, pick the apartment with the terrace, it is a perfect place for a nice breakfast. Leo and his wife are great hosts. Very helpful, especially helping find our way into the old city. Great location, can roll out of bed and be in a cafe with coffee at the harbour in seconds. Clean and comfortable. Recently renovated. The location was ideal in Rovinj, near the restaurants and water. Room was clean and comfortable, however we weren't informed that we had to turn on the hot water switch for he shower. Excellent position right in the heart of the old town. steep stairs could be a problem for the elderly. parking would be difficult. Nothing, although steep stairs leading to the room could be problematic for elderly or people with small babies. Steep stairs to the 2nd floor, but what would you expect in a 400 year old UNESCO heritage building. The stairs to the apartment were narrow and steep and could be a problem for older people. They need to provide ice trays for the refrigerator/freezer. Labeling the water switch would be helpful in reminding people to use it. The parking is a long distance (1/2 mile at least) from the apartment and could be a problem for older people. They make it as easy as possible by escorting travelers with cars close to the unit for loading/unloading luggage. Steep and loud timper stair. Upper floor seems to be more quiet since no one has to pass the door. A little difficult to find. Free parking is a bit of a trek. Reception was unavailable at all times although this might have been because we came during off season (April).
