Good to know, that tourists are not allowed to go into the old town by car.   The location of Bella Vista is right at the top of the steep street, right across from the Hotel Kastel. We were able to park just across the street in a parking lot. The entrance employee allowed us to drive into the castle upon showing our reservation confirmation. The apartment was just lovely. The wifi signal was strong, and the shower good. - Wow! What a great location! Motovun is the perfect place to destress away from the coast in Istria and Bella Vista is the ideal place to do it! The family could not be more welcoming, the apartments were nicely decorated, spacious and comfortable and the view from anywhere in Motovun is amazing!! Great local restaurants plus a wine/truffle plus plus plus shop attached to the apartments. Take a few days and appreciate the magic of Motovun and the comfort of Bella Vista!!
