We were fortunate enough to be inivited to a friends wedding at the end
of August and after researching the area though that Apartments Nivic
would be a good location. We were wrong..it is a fantastic location.
I cannot rate the accommodation highly enough but above that is the hospitality extended to us by Diana (the owner) and her family. This is truly a home away from home. Located in the perfect part of town (near the Pile Gate) away from the noise and main tourist strip, the apartments have been lovingly renovated by owners Diana and Zdravko and are extremely tasteful and comfortable with quality features throughout.
Diana had arranged for us to be collected from (and later returned to) the airport by nephew Marko who was instantly warm, friendly and knowledgeable.

It’s worth visiting Dubrovnik just to stay in one of the amazing apartments and to meet the family who owns them. They are located in the heart of the marvelous and historic old town, yet in a quiet spot.
We stayed at the ground floor apartment. It is furnished with great taste and care. Everything was impeccably clean and all the amenities, including free Wi-Fi were there. It felt cozy.

These apartments may not be expensive but staying there is a 5*
experience. Everything about the accommodation is excellent –
comfortable bed, great water pressure, spotless facilities and a super
quiet location in the heart of the old city. All family members we met
went out of their way to make our stay special. They arranged to collect
and drop us back to the airport and even left us hot apple strudel! We’d
go back in a heartbeat!.
We just cant recommend the Nivic apartments enough. This was truly such
a great holiday spot in the old city , gorgeous little apartment in a
quite lane. The owners the Nivic family all arrived to wish us a
comfortable and enjoyable stay , the family picked us up from the
airport and were wonderful hosts , we can only say that Nivic Apartments
were one of our favourite places during our five week holiday around
Europe.a real gem.

location is great since you are only 5 minutes from Ploce Gate and the Old Town port, maybe 8 minutes from Banje beach, and 2 minutes away from the centre (good restaurants, jazz bar, cafes etc), owners are very sweet and very helpful, the place is modern and spotless (SUPER CLEAN) and the bed is really comfortable! :) I would definitely recommend this apartment! Hotel Nivic is a family run business and a lovely family it is. Very helpful when my fellow travelling companion had a few baggage issues. They were more than helpful in many ways and the apartment was absolutely beautiful with full amenities in the heart of the old town. Dubrovnik was unexpected and a very interesting, scenic town. Can't wait to go back!.
the Nivic family was at the lovely apartment to greet us , they also arranged airport pick up for a good price , and a guide to take us from the Pile Bridge to the apartment. We loved the subperb location of this wonderful apartment as it is inside the Old Town walls but away from the busy, noisy Stradun Promenade and close enough to all sights. Apartment decor is lovely and it also includes Wifi. Owners were delightful, very helpful and made our stay in Dubrovnik a memorable one. .
The Nivic family really are salt of the earth. They could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Arranged collection from the airport and also arranged transport to the ferry port when we departed. Wonderful apartment set in a beautiful destination. I can't recommend enough!!!.
We loved the apartment. Luxury studio room within the old city walls. Best part was it is in a very quiet location. This apartment is full of quality fixtures. Bed was extremely comfortable. The owners welcome you like family. Excellent stay.

Excellent modern / traditional apartment. Great location just beside the walls and main street. The apartments seem quite new with great facilities. Lady owner was very nice and sorted our transfers.
The apartment is gorgeous. It's in a historic building on the ploce
end of the old city. Beautiful with all of the conveniences and they
even provided a bottle of water and iced tea for us.

The floors are very thin. We stayed in the ground floor apartment and the noise of guests walking in the apartment above was unbearable at times. The owner mentioned this on.arrival but we didn't realise how bad it would be....
Our taxi driver dropped us on the wrong end of the old city, we
should've told him to take us to ploce instead for a shorter walk
through the city.
