  A great hostel just down the road from their sister hostel. 5-10 minutes walk from the Bell tower and central sights. Very helpful staff and free tours and activities every night arranged by the staff. We did the tour to great goose pagoda with the fountain show which was loads of fun! Good breakfast and reasonably priced food, great bar atmospher... mitä ihmiset sanovat » e too in the evening with live music. We stayed on the second floor and couldn't hear the bar at all. Some noise from the street but to be expected. A - A great backpacker haven (a welcoming bar area with wifi serving beer on tap, hookahs, and western food) that also provides the comforts and cleanliness of a no frills budget hotel. Location is very central within 15 minutes walking distance to the Bell Tower, subway station, and Muslim Quarter. The staff helped plan our Xi'an visit, while a lot of travel info is also posted in the common areas by the staff previous guests.

  We booked a standard room in the Mercure and got an upgrade to a suite in the Grand Mercure which was fantastic! Couldn't fault anything at all. Pure luxury, room enormous, bed so comfy!! Breakfast was full western and eastern buffet with drinks served to the table. Staff excellent all round. Use of the leisure facilities in the Sofitel an added b... mitä ihmiset sanovat » onus. Highly recommended. - Nice hotel. Quite location in residential square with all Accor hotels nearby. Staff very efficiently, expecially we wish to thanks a lot Mr. Andy who gave us all necessary info's needed as well as train ticketing support.   Everything! Location is perfect - in the center of the city but at he same time in an own courtyard with so much silence and calmness. The rooms are designed very well, its style is connected with the history of the building. Beds very comfortable, room and bathroom very clean. The stuff of both Grand Mercure and Sofitel are extremely polite helpful and professionals. They arrang - The hotel was well located, comfortable and clean; it also had a quite interesting historical and stylish aspect to it. The location is excellent -- one can walk to most of the sites within old city walls comfortably (e.g., the walk to the Southern entrance to the city wall is around 30 minutes).
