  This apartment was great and we really felt at home here. It was very spacious, comfortable and quiet with all the amenities plus a fully equipped kitchen.   Lovely grand hotel 40 minutes outside Chengdu city. Enourmous very comfortable bed with plush linens. Loved that the bathroom opened up into the bedroom. There are two fantastic pools, though they try to make you wear swimming caps which is frustrating and ridiculous. The restaurants are great with several choices of cuisine. The Spa was fantastic, - The staff are faultless. They arranged our 'hold a baby panda' experience ahead of time with wonderful ease and efficiency - thank you Jessie! The room was suburb, large, clean and comfortable with a lovely view. It's a bit out of Chengdu- but if you are there for a panda cuddle and nothing else it's just perfectly located 5 minutes from the park with a free regular shuttle. Because coffee is not too popular in China, I was surprised and delighted to find good quality italian coffee. And the service was 24 hours, so this was just perfect for me.
