  Sra. Silvia and Srta. Gisela were wonderful and accommodating hostesses. If you budget the 15 mins it takes to walk to the center of town, the distance is not an issue. The streets are decently lit and safe. We actually preferred being outside of the very touristy areas for portions of the day to relax, plus, the 4am geyser tour picked us up and d... mitä ihmiset sanovat » ropped us off at our door anyway. It's also a much quieter part of town - no street traffic, just the ubiquitous street dogs you find everywhere else. - The hostal is extremely well maintained and clean and the bed is comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and the host very friendly. Nice hot shower and patio area to relax in outside.
