Situated in the province of El Loa, 1.5 km from San Pedro de Atacama centre, this eco lodge offers tailor-made expeditions into the Atacama Desert. It features wellness facilities and free Wi-Fi. Offering views of Andean Volcanoes. Wellness facilities include an outdoor hot tub, an indoor heated pool, a massage room and an infrared sauna. Guests can relax in the hammock that is located in the pear tree garden after a full day exploring the area, or simply enjoying the sun at the sundeck. All accommodation at Atacama-adventure Wellness & Ecolodge has a design integrated into the surrounding environment. The rooms are built out of natural materials like brick, wood and bamboo. Some rooms are equipped with a hot tub. Atacama-adventure Lodge has a fully-equipped kitchen in the centre of the house. There is a cook especially for the guests, preparing meals of their choice. Wi-Fi is provided in the main building only and a 24-hour internet room is available for guest use. There is a common TV room with satellite channels.

It was a very relaxing and comfortable place to stay. A lot of reviews claim it's hard to find but if you literally follow the directions/map on their website you'll find it no problem. My only issue was that because I was a single traveler my room was quite small, I made the best of it as I was there to relax so I wasn't in the room much anyways. On a side note the town of San Pedro de Atacama was a pleasant, historic, friendly town that I would recommend to anyone I know...and I would recomm.
kaikki arvostelut » This was by far our best stay in South America. The room was exceptional and very clean. All the little extras in the room made our stay here very enjoyable. The staff went out of their way to help us. A great place to relax!!!. The hotel staff is very pro active and qualified; the service offered presented a very high quality. The infrastructure for leisure and rest is amazing. Friendly helpful staff who can speak English. Breakfast good and evening meals lovely, cooked on request with daily menu. Hot tub, pool, views, bikes made available to get into San Pedro (10 min ride) staff. Nice place to stay. Staff was fantastic. Guest were treated, literally, as family. Very comfortable, good food, pleasant atmosphere. 2 beautiful and super kind dogs. Remote, quiet area, good for relaxation and disconnecting from city bustle. Excellent breakfast. Bikes for free to go to downtown. Quiet hotel, with beautiful view of the mountains,friendly staff. Nice food, Friendly stuff at the reception. It's a 25 min walk into town but we really enjoyed the walk even in the dark!!! The stars are amazing. Just bring a torch. Due San Pedro de Atacama infrastructure, it was very difficult to find the hotel location. It was necessary to call the hotel lobby and get instructions on how to get at correct address. Would be hard to find on your own as no signs off the road and a bit out of town. However the airport transfer service, Licanabur, took us to the door and you can hire bikes at the hotel to get about. All good. Location - it was very difficult to find. We had a car and in the end had to ring up and ask to be collected from where were were, as we had asked for directions several times and were sent all over the place. It needs better signage as it is off the road. For this reason I would qualify my recommendation. From outside wouldn't be able to tell it's a hotel, run-down surroundings that need cleaning up. Inconvenient location if interested in city life. Too far from town, and the lack of dining services (there are only 6 rooms) This may seem minor, but charging $3 for an espresso sized cup of coffee from a Mr. Coffee? Then charging for a refill? This was not NYC,after all. This was the most expensive hotel of our stay in Chile and I feel it gave us the least value. It took us more than 3 hours to find the place...Missed planned sunset trip. Really bad description on the Web. The owner (Marketa) was not helpful at all. We didnt even meet her - maybe she was annoyed by the many of our calls which cost us a fortune. We felt lost and pretty left alone. Would 't go there again. Didn't even get an easy breakfast on the Day we left early for Tatio Geysirs.
