  The front desk staff was professional, warm, and accommodating. When I asked for a quiet room, they put me on the top floor and it WAS a quiet, beautifully appointed, newly decorated room that gave me the serenity I was seeking.   I liked the breakfast, the price, the bed. If you are only staying in the hotel to sleep, it is great! - I loved the hotel -- We were given an upgrade to two one-bedroom suits, which were lovely and very comfortable. I was intrigued by the architecture of the hotel, built in 1876, and want to go back to Victoria and stay there
