  We left out dog in our hotel room and went for dinner. She managed to get out of the room. Staff was amazing about helping us locate her, which we did. In fact, they went above and beyond their duties.   I had a private room for a really good price, though small I had a fridge and lots of cupboards above the bed. Comfortable and quiet despite having a bar downstairs, soundproofing was very good couldn't hear other guests when in my room. I wasn't keen on my original room as was a bit stuffy but reception offered me an alternativ - We loved our stay in this hotel! We got a room with a private bathroom, and the room was very comfortable and clean. Hotel's staff was also very friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is great - was close to everything we needed in downtown. The price was great too! I highly recommend this hotel and we will stay there again next time we are in Victoria.

  Last year I stayed at a B&B and we paid $250 a night and I didn't like the breakfast or the room. I stayed sept 7 one night at Super 8 and I liked it, the room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the breakfast was great.   I liked the breakfast, the price, the bed. If you are only staying in the hotel to sleep, it is great! - I loved the hotel -- We were given an upgrade to two one-bedroom suits, which were lovely and very comfortable. I was intrigued by the architecture of the hotel, built in 1876, and want to go back to Victoria and stay there
