Mathieu graciously carried all our luggage to our third floor room and
smiled the entire way ( poor man). The room was spectacular, so much so
we did not even want to leave to go out for dinner. Loved the spa bath

We loved our loft, it was beautifully decorated and had all the ammenities of home! After arriving, we realized that we could have entertained friends right there instead of going out for dinner...with the red brick walls, hardwood floors, leather couches and one of the most comfortable beds in the world, we now know where we will stay everytime we are in Montreal!!

A wonderful hotel tucked into a cobblestone street in Old Town! Giant rooms and hot tub big enough for two was a real plus on cold nights (and days)! I will stay here the next time I am in Quebec City. Great value, too. LOVED IT!! - The staff were very helpful with any requests and the buffet breakfast was delicious with great fresh choices.

We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and both were excellent and reasonably priced. We enjoyed sitting out on the decks overlooking Lac Sable and later swimming there.(Beach access included in the price of the room) -

Port Royal is a fantastic hotel located in the heart of basse-ville (lower town). Our room 105 had original stones and wood beams dating from 1700´s. BEd is very comfortable, room decór is sooting and chic (shantung curtains, ceiling painted in grey-brown). Bedroom has a built in kithchenette very convenient. Hotel bar is really cool too. When I first read the on-line guests reviews, I have to admitt that I was a bit worried to reach there. I was instead pleasantly surprised. everyone was great, helpfull and ,friendly from the reception staff to the dining room staff, I can;t say enough about the room clean with all the amenities ,that we needed, the bed was comfortable, I was traveling with my sister ,the girls at the front desk ,assissed us with how best to see Quebec city ,where to get the bus, which was right across from the hotel ,also the food was great in the dining room
