The Capitol Theatre is a 7-minute walk from the bed and breakfast. Crystal Palace Amusement Park is 3 km away.

The staff was very nice and helpful. It is within 5 minutes walk of the bars and restaurants downtown. We got upgraded to a room with a private bathroom for no charge. The room was big, and very clean. Even if a complete continental breakfast isn't provided, we were given juice, coffee, bananas and toasts. Excellent value for the price. The staff went above and beyond to help me after I had left my wallet at a gas station back on the highway. Very caring & friendly. Had an open, social, hostel-like feel to it.

Location of this B&B is perfect. Rooms are average and the owner was nice. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable Downtown location. Ron was very nice and accommodating to guests' needs. Ron was a fantasic host, very accommodating. Owner very accommodating. The owners were great. The owners were very friendly, accommodating and always ready for a chat. The price was a major factor for me, and I was not disappointed. The place is cheap. The self-serve breakfast was very nice for someone like me who doesn't need/like a massive spread of cooked food early morning. Ron and Brenda were very nice and we've had good talks. The B&B lays central, good to reach by foot from VIA Station. It was the cheapest choice. Proprietor very nice, very accommodating. We were very late arriving but he got us checked in and settled. the owners very friendly, helpful at times. it needs to a b&B or a home for youngers??????. Get your own breakfast. Near fantastic vegetarian reataurant. Friendly staff. Host was friendly and helpful with information. Nothing. nothing. nothing. Everything was great, but I would call this a guesthouse, not a B&B. Shower curtain as washroom door. Price was more than previously stated on the phone. Wi-fi was not fully functional. The front rooms get a lot of noise from the street. Took us a while to check in. There is a reason it's cheap. I was in a room that was largely ok, but had an incredibly strong smell of cigarette smoke. The room also had no lock, i.e. it couldn't be locked from inside or outside. The mattress was too large for the bed frame. There was also unwashed crockery in the room's kitchen sink. WC: Drain was blocked Shower: Door was defekt Heater: Couldn't get the room warm Breakfast: was just cereals, a banana and weak coffee. They somehow got the wrong date for our booking and there was a lot of confusion over this. A new employee was clueless and made us feel like we were dealing with an idiot. No air conditioning in mid July, only fans--an ac was on the floor in the hall and had not been installed. Overall it was an ok experience but marred by the date mixup and the clueless employee. more like a haft way house lots off youngers always smoking and drinking. Too few bathrooms. Bathtub not clean. Over booked...one of us stuffed in an office room. Linens weren't up to par. The breakfast was help yourself and was not as good as expected. We needed a 7:30am breakfast, it seemed like that was a little too early for the hos, so we arranged to start the coffee ourselves and every thing for a continental breakfast was laid out for us the night before. Host and others partied to 4:00 am although signs said quiet time at 11:00 pm. Our booked room was still occupied when we came to check in so we were offered another room at a higher price. We should have been given the other room at the agreed for booking price. Breakfast was get it yourself. Fortunately the coffee had been made by another paying (working) guest. We would not return to this establishment. This was more like a boarding house. some of the guests seemed to be more than just traveling thru. The TV didn't work, No AC, internet didn't work. Breakfast was serve yourself cereal or toast. Not what we expected. In a seedy part of town. room not cleaned bedding not clean no towels or face cloths no soap not a good place to stay. Had to wait hours to book in people coming and going at all hours, noisy all night and people drinking, could not wait to get away early morning, would never recommend this place. The B&B was in serious disrepair. Looks nothing like the photos. Heated pool was brown and unusable on the first day of the summer season, carpet was threadbare and dirty, paint and plaster were pealing off foyer, bedspreads had holes in them, so did the window screens, vinyl backsplash in bath was bubbling. Not a spa, more like a dump.
