  We spent 4 nights in the Nelligan and rate this amongst the best of our hotel experiences anywhere. Rooms were spacious and well furnished (exposed brickwork is very stylish). All of the staff we spoke to were extremely helpful and spoke both French and English fluently. Yes, you'll pay a bit more for this hotel but it's def - We loved the feel of the hotel and the way it had been renovated to keep the charm of the exposed bricks and stone. The staff were outstanding and very helpful. The hotel is located right in the heart of Old Montreal and it is within easy walking distance of great restaurants, bars, art galleries, historic sights and the waterfront. We look forward to staying there again and again.

  This hotel was one of the loveliest travel experiences I've ever had, and I've been all around the world. The hotel is gorgeous - the restaurants, spa, and especially bedroom were first class.
