  The good fame of Pousada Pedras Secas is 100% deserved: nice location with sea view, well kept rooms but what we liked most was the very friendly and helpfull staff. Thanks to them we had an amazing time in Fernando de Noronha. - The staff were incredibly thoughtful and helpful, making excellent recommendations.   The hotel is right on the beach. The rooms on that side have wonderfull views. At night i slept with the windows open to listen to the surf. Many of the staff spoke english, and were attentive to my questions. Recife is a beautiful town with lots to do and lots of history.   We loved the Pousada do Vale, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was fantastic (fish night is a real treat) and although the bed was uncomfortable the rooms were nicely decorated and very clean! Their gardens are beautiful but beware the mozzies! The staff was friendly, professional, flexible, and made sure we had activities we liked. The food was excellent (fresh juice from fruits in the garden) and everyone was kind.
