  We liked the fact that we could walk out the gate and see the historic center of Olinda. It was so convenient. The staff were very good and several of them were able to give us good information in English. We were so busy that we did not have time to take advantage of the pool except to enjoy seeing it from the restaurant.   Right from the start this was a great experience with a gracious, welcoming check-in process. The room was spacious and clean with very comfortable beds, good linens and towels, and a great view of Boa Viagem beach. The food ordered up from room service was excellent, as was the great breakfast buffet (cafe da manha) they served. HIGHLY RECOMMEND - Front desk staff were helpful. Rooms were good, I stayed twice. Not new and immaculate, but quite good. Elevators were having some glitches. The breakfast was quite good.

  The hotel was right on the beach and close to restaurants. There wasn't much noise from traffic and the breakfast had a good mix of international and local food. Staff were always friendly and helpful. - nice breakfast.
