A family owned operation who run an exceptional Pousada. The attention to detail was incredible, especially the strategically placed vases of stunning tropical flowers placed in our room and all around the Pousada. Afternoon tea that was provided was a very special touch. Great value.

An intimate pousada stylishly decorated and surrounded by lush greenery.
Bernard and Regine were extremely friendly and helpful hosts while still allowing us the independence and privacy we wanted. The breakfast was excellent.
The beaches(10mins walk) are beautiful and the bar and restaurant area of Arraial (20mins walk)was safe and had excellent live music.

We booked one of the larger rooms which turned out to be a suite with a lovely balcony overlooking the beach. Very nicely decorated - simple and rustic but very well kept. Air con in the bedroom was super quiet. Staff were extremely warm and helpful even if they spoke limited English. Breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious. It was an excellent pousada, fantastic room with main bedroom and attached second bedroom for a family with three small children, beautiful food and a great pool. Close to the beach (not right on it, but a walk away with toddlers) and close to the turtle sanctuary which was a big hit with the children.
