Hotel Veraneio is walking distance from the airport. The member of staff on (24-hour) reception spoke good English, having once lived in London. The hallways were spartan, but the room clean, air-conditioned and comfortable, and my wake-up call came at exactly the time requested. -

The hotel is very clean with ceramic floors and has no mold which is a plus for someone that suffers from severe allergies like I do. It's right by the beach and very close to the shopping RioMar( the newest and best mall in Recife)

Right from the start this was a great experience with a gracious, welcoming check-in process. The room was spacious and clean with very comfortable beds, good linens and towels, and a great view of Boa Viagem beach. The food ordered up from room service was excellent, as was the great breakfast buffet (cafe da manha) they served.

Front desk staff were helpful. Rooms were good, I stayed twice. Not new and immaculate, but quite good. Elevators were having some glitches. The breakfast was quite good.
