The very old downtown is fascinating to be in an old and restored hotel and to stay in a so big room as old times: even the bell of the old church of Se (which annoys some people) for me it was a pleasure to hear.
The breakfast is very reasonable and good and the staff very friendly. I loved there and I will be there all times I go back to Belem:
