  This was our second stay at the Hotel Royal. We returned to it because we enjoyed our first stay so much. This is a little gem of a hotel that deserves more than the three stars it currently has; it is at least a three-plus if not a four star standard. The accommodation has been newly built in a residential area as a B&B business in the countryside and is clean, comfortable and fit for purpose. Overall the facilities are very highly highly commended. - The Aphrodite B& B was of 5 star standard with spacious rooms furnished to an exceptionally high standard. Ideally located for Ieper and the battlefields of the First World War. Dirk is a first class guide to the area.
