  Very helpful personnel. Although ibis is right next to a train station, no noise coming from the station could be heard in my room. The WiFi Internet connection worked well most of the time, just in the evening there were problems with too many clients connected. A large bike parking lot right next to the hotel. - The hotel is located a about 200m from the station exit, making it convenient to arrive by rail (as I did). There are quote a few bars and restaurants on the opposite side of the station, and various sandwich shops in the station concourse beneath the platforms. Proper restaurants can be found in the city Centre in Groot Markt which takes around 10-15 minutes to walk to, allowing a reconnaisance of a pleasant shopping street en-route

  The hotel is located in the liveliest part of town and as close to centre of Leuven as you can get. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooms are dated and a bit tired, but the bed and bathroom are acceptable. Despite our very early departure, our breakfast was made available with a smile. The location couldn't be better, right in the middle of everything, We finished our evening off in the very pleasant surroundings of the bar downstairs.
